The GEPRC Vapor-D5 is a powerful 5" freestyle drone with DJI O4 Pro digital image transmission. The drone is suitable for acrobatics or flying with an HD camera like GoPro.

The Vapor D5 uses a Deadcat configuration, where the front arms are shifted further back and to the sides. This ensures that disturbing propeller edges are not visible in the camera view, which is especially important if you are using the DJI O4 camera for recording.

The frame uses 5mm thick arms. The arms are attached with two screws, making their replacement very easy in case of damage. The FPV camera is protected by aluminum side plates. The camera mounting itself is handled via a rubber insert that helps to absorb vibrations.

The drone is equipped with an M10 GPS module, which allows for automatic return to launch.

The Vapor-D5 is equipped with the GEP-F722-HD V2 flight controller featuring an F722 processor, an ICM42688-P gyro, a BMP280 barometer for altitude measurement, and 16MB of memory for blackbox. The board is complemented by 60A ESCs with BlHeli_S firmware. Propulsion is provided by GEPRC SpeedX2 2207E 1960Kv motors in combination with Gemfan 5136 propellers. Video transmission is handled by the aforementioned DJI O4 Pro unit. The drone is equipped with an ELRS receiver with one antenna on the 2.4GHz frequency.

Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1300-1500mAh.
