Detailed information

Product detailed description

DJI O4 Wide Air Unit brings the proven DJI O4 digital transmission system in a lightweight package combined with a camera featuring an ultra-wide 159° field of view. The result is a more natural and immersive FPV image, ideal for freestyle flying, racing, and high-speed passes.

The system provides a live feed of up to 1080p/100 fps, latency as low as 20 ms, and onboard recording at up to 4K/60 fps. Thanks to H.265 encoding, the image remains detailed and smooth even at high speeds.

Key Features

  • Ultra-wide 159° FOV
  • DJI O4 digital video transmission
  • Live view up to 1080p/100 fps
  • Latency as low as 20 ms with DJI Goggles 3 in Racing Mode
  • Video recording up to 4K/60 fps
  • 1/2" CMOS sensor
  • RockSteady 3.0+ stabilization
  • Gyroflow support
  • 23 GB built-in storage
  • Betaflight OSD / Canvas Mode support
  • Total weight approx. 13.3 g

Ultra-Wide 159° View

The main difference compared to the standard DJI O4 Air Unit is the camera with a significantly wider 159° field of view. This gives the pilot better peripheral awareness and a more dynamic FPV image, especially useful during high-speed flying and close proximity passes.

4K Recording Directly from the FPV Camera

DJI O4 Wide Air Unit supports onboard recording at up to 4K 60 fps, which means that on lightweight FPV builds an additional action camera may not be necessary.

Supported resolutions:

  • 4K 4:3: 3840 × 2880 at 30 / 50 / 60 fps
  • 4K 16:9: 3840 × 2160 at 30 / 50 / 60 fps
  • 1080p 4:3: up to 120 fps
  • 1080p 16:9: up to 120 fps

Low Latency and Racing Mode

The new Racing Mode reduces transmission latency and supports simultaneous operation of up to eight pilots.

Minimum latency:

  • DJI Goggles 3: from 20 ms
  • DJI Goggles N3: from 24 ms
  • DJI Goggles 2 / Integra: from 35 ms

RockSteady and Gyroflow Stabilization

The camera supports built-in RockSteady 3.0+ electronic image stabilization. With stabilization disabled, recorded gyro data can be used for post-processing stabilization in Gyroflow.
